Portsmouth High School is a selective school where girls of average ability and above can achieve the success they deserve.

Our main points of entry are 3+, 4+, 7+, 11+, 13+ and Sixth Form. However we are very happy to talk with prospective parents and pupils about entry at other points.

More information about the admissions procedure for each stage of entry can be found in our Admissions Handbook, which is sent with our Prospectus Pack.

To obtain a copy of our Prospectus Pack please complete an online request form, stating the age of the applicant and where possible year of entry. We will send a prospectus to you within 48 hours of receiving your request. You are also welcome to request a prospectus over the phone and our Admissions Secretary will be happy to answer any questions that you may have. Please call on 023 9282 6714.

The Prospectus Pack also includes a Registration Form, which should be completed if you wish to apply for your daughter to be assessed or tested for entry.

Once your daughter is registered the process is set in motion and you will be notified of forthcoming Open Days, Drop-In Mornings, Taster Days and the date of the Entrance Examination.
