Life beyond Portsmouth High School...

Portsmouth High School actively keeps in touch with former pupils. Every year a reunion is held at the school and alumnae are invited back to and catch up with friends and share memories of school days over lunch. There is always an opportunity to tour the school and keep abreast of how the school has changed over the years and to admire the fantastic range of facilities available to current pupils.

We are always interested to find out what former pupils have done since leaving the school and to share in their challenges and successes along the way. Former pupils are invited to contact Lucinda Webb, Director of Development and Alumnae Relations, to update the school on what they have gone on to do since leaving. Lucinda can be contacted by e-mail at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. How the 2010 Reunion helped the class of 2005 keep in touch...
Chat and laughter filled the Sixth Form Centre in April 2010 as alumnae returned to catch up on each other’s news. The girls are now all at various stages of their careers, some well into the world of work and others training to pursue a career in their chosen profession.

The reunion was an ideal opportunity for the girls to see the recent developments at the school, including the wonderful Sport England standard Sports Hall and bright modern new buildings down at the Junior School. The 2005 cohort attended a host of universities across the country to study a wide range of courses including Oceanography, Pharmacy, Medicine, History and Politics, Illustration, Law and Drama. One former pupil went to Philadelphia as a professional squash player and one had just returned from Switzerland  before changing careers to become a doctor. A great day was had by all who attended!
