After consultation with parents, staff and pupils we are at the exciting stage of launching our new uniform. The uniform review took into consideration the key elements of cost, quality, image and comfort and durability.
The New uniform will be in place for September 2007. We are mindful that some pupils may have uniform that is still serviceable for the next academic year, and in light of this we will phase in the new uniform over the next 2 years. Therefore, we will expect all new pupils to be wearing the new uniform from September 2007.
By September 2009 the change will be complete for all pupils. Sales of second hand uniform will continue so that parents of current pupils can purchase existing items if they prefer. We are aware that changing uniform is always a complicated and protracted business, but we are confident that the revisions will ensure our uniform will be fit for purpose and re-affirm our image as a prestigious girls's school in the South of England.
