In January 2011 Portsmouth High School successfully bid for HSBC Sport and Sustainability Funding to create a sensory garden on our Junior School site, as well as at the Mary Rose School and St Swithun's Catholic Primary School. The aim of the gardens is to bring the curriculum to life and teach pupils about sustainable living through hands-on learning. The project will develop a unique partnership between the three schools as pupils, staff and parents work together to develop different gardens at each site. |
