The Junior School is a relatively small community in which every individual is known, valued and nurtured. We aim to combine the best of traditional values with modern approaches to learning, preparing girls for the challenges of our uncertain and rapidly changing society. We know they all have differing strengths, talents and needs. They are encouraged to develop an interest and enthusiasm for learning and an eagerness to do well.

Great emphasis is placed on the pastoral care we provide for the girls. We believe, very firmly, that children learn most effectively when they are happy and secure. Those who visit us invariably comment on the warm, open approach of the girls they meet. It is always our intention to work in partnership with parents who, in turn, value the attention and support their daughters receive.
