Lecture series in association with Lockheed Martin UK
Delivered by a selected group of professionals and scholars...
Portsmouth High School is delighted to stage a series of defence and security related lectures, kindly sponsored by Lockheed Martin UK.
The aim of the lecture series is to bring leading thinkers in the field to the south coast and stimulate discussion outside of the nation’s capital. The lectures are being delivered by a selected group of professionals and scholars, each experts in their respective fields, in order to broaden and expand upon traditional sources available to students and interested parties.
Portsmouth is the home of the Royal Navy, with deep historic links to all three services and their related industrial partners – as such it is a natural choice for developing the defence and security narrative outside of London.
The newly refurbished hall at Portsmouth High School is a 200-seat capacity venue, fitted with the latest facilities. The lecture series is open to the public, and the audience will present a mixture of demographics from sixth form and university students, fast-track graduates from the local defence industry and local business people from the community.
