The Department of Design and Technology is pleased to offer our new adult introductory programme in Jewellery making.

This six-week beginner’s programme will be held in our excellent DT workshops in The Bannell Centre and cover the following skills:

•       Basic design principles.

•       Measuring and cutting silver.

•       Shaping and joining silver using brazing etc.

•       Polishing and finishing.

By the end of these lessons you will be able to complete your own jewellery piece such as a pendant or brooch.

The lessons start on Wednesday 4 June 2008 and run from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. The cost is £50. You will be able to purchase the necessary silver etc. from school.
