Students and staff at Portsmouth High School are celebrating a wonderful set of A Level examination results, with the vast majority of students achieving the grades needed to secure a place at their first choice university.

Over a quarter of the year group gained A grades in 3 or more A Levels.  As well as overall success there are also those all important individual achievements too. Students will be heading all over the country to take up places at university  to study a wide variety of courses.

Headmistress, Jenny Clough, said: “I am delighted with the achievements of all our girls. My warmest congratulations go to them and  our staff who have given them so much support and encouragement.”

“There is no better evidence of the hard work put in by the students and the excellence and enthusiasm of the teaching staff than results day. Over the past two years our committed staff have worked with the girls to support them in their different aspirations. We are confident they have made wise and exciting choices and wish them every success as they make their plans for university and the next stage of their studies.”
