Pupils and staff at Portsmouth High School celebrate another highly successful year with a record breaking set of GCSE results.

Just one week after the School celebrated 100% pass rate at A Level, the Year 11 pupils have distinguished themselves, equally in their GCSE examinations. As well as the   impressive overall average of 100% five A* to C grades, over one third of girls gained A*/A in all of their subjects.

Headmistress, Jenny Clough, said:
“All pupils should be tremendously proud of their achievements.  Results day is one of the highlights of the academic year; there is no better evidence of the hard work put in by the pupils and the excellence and enthusiasm of the teaching staff”.
