Pupils and staff at Portsmouth High School celebrate another highly successful year of examination results.

Just one week after the Southsea independent girls’ school celebrated A Level successes, the School’s Year 11 pupils have distinguished themselves equally in their GCSE examinations,  with over a third of all students gaining  A*/A in all of their subjects. 

Headmistress, Jenny Clough, said: “Portsmouth High School students always achieve outstanding results and this year is no exception.  All pupils should be tremendously proud of their achievements.  Results day is one of the highlights of the academic year; there is no better evidence of the hard work put in by the pupils and the excellence and enthusiasm of the teaching staff”.
