On Sunday 16 September a group of Portsmouth High School musicians travelled to Belenheim Palace, the home of the Duke of Marlborough. The group were invited to provide background music for visitors walking through the house and in the long library in particular.

Miss Blackwell, Director of Music said; " It was such a fantastic performing opportunity for the girls. They were a little overawed by the surroundings but absolutely buzzing on the coach as we returned home."

The weather, thankfully, was also great so the group were able to spend a lovely afternoon exploring the wonderful grounds
