Each year the National Theatre commissions a number of 60 minute scripts by up and coming playwrights to be be performed by teenage companies. A Year and A Day, written by Christina Reid is a ghost story, brought to life by our talented and imaginative cast.
Three of the school's Sixth Formers, Georgia Woolley, Fiona Mikel and Bathsheba Piepe are also involved in the production as Directors and Producers. The cast performed the play in early March, when they were visited by a National Theatre assessor, and were delighted to be chosen to perform at the Nuffield Theatre as part of the National Theatre Connections festival. |

The Year 9 acting club performed A Year and a Day at the Nuffield Theatre in Southampton as part of the National Theatre Connections Festival on Thursday April 19.
