What parents and pupils say…
A calm oasis in the city with so much to offer… The staff are so warm and friendly and have always shown a genuine interest in us as parents and our daughter which has made the transition into Pre-School very easy.
When my daughter joined in September she was really shy. Through the nurturing and patience of her teachers she has developed into a much more sociable and bubbly girl. She loves the outdoor play and forest school activities, looks forward to French and music classes and is developing her reading and writing skills with great enthusiasm.
Alex, Year 6
My time at Portsmouth High Junior School has made me more confident in myself and has pushed me to achieve more than I imagined possible. It has made me go for things that I wouldn’t have gone for and made me try new things. The school has made me realise that anything is possible if you try hard. I have made friends that will stay with me forever.
Millie, Year 7
I would recommend Portsmouth High School because of the superb range of activities on offer both inside the classroom and out. All of the teachers are kind and extremely supportive.
Evie, Upper 6
Life at Portsmouth High School opens many doors, especially in Sixth Form. My decision to stay on at Portsmouth High School for my last two years has undoubtedly been the best choice I could have made. PHS has enabled me to deepen my knowledge and further my skills in all my subject choices and extracurricular activities.
