Senior Case Studies

I have grown up at Portsmouth High School as I joined in the Nursery School when I was 3 years old. It has been a lovely place to spend part of my childhood and has made me more confident, enthusiastic and resilient.

When I first started in Year 7 I was quite nervous about making new friends but looking back I shouldn’t have been. Everyone was very friendly and I settled in well.

Joining the school was a daunting prospect at first. When I arrived I realised that this was going to be a completely different experience to my junior school. However, it has been a change for the better as I have grown in confidence since joining Portsmouth High School.

I started at Portsmouth High in the Nursery School when I was 3 years old. I enjoyed Junior School a lot as there were lots of pupils and staff who were there to help every step of the way.

I joined Portsmouth High School in Year 7 and am glad I did. I have had so many opportunities such as a trip to Calvados, taking part in the Girls’ Day School Trust sports rally and a playing in a rounders tournament.

When I first started Portsmouth High School in September 2016 I didn’t really know anyone else there. Luckily the school gives pupils many opportunities to meet new people.
