ISI Report 2023
The Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) is the body approved by the Secretary of State to inspect independent schools.
Portsmouth High School GDST’s March 2023 inspection was a Focused Compliance Inspection which was combined with an Educational Quality Inspection.
The Focused Compliance Inspection reports only on the school’s compliance with standards. The school met all the required standards.
The Educational Quality Inspection reports on the quality of the school’s work and focused on two key outcomes:
- The achievement of pupils, including their academic development
- The personal development of pupils
Portsmouth High School GDST was judged excellent across all areas.
