APPLY FOR SIXTH FORM
The Sixth Form at Portsmouth High School is an exciting time when you have the chance to pursue the subjects that really interest you. We expect sixth form students to have obtained grades at GCSE which indicate their suitability to cope with A Level study. In the first instance, you will be invited for an interview – usually in the spring term – and an offer of a place will then be conditional on your GCSE examination results.

Sixth Form Assessment and Experience Days
Our Sixth Form Assessment Day is held in early December the year before entry, the date will be communicated to you once we have received your application. During the Assessment Day your daughter will also have an interview with the Head and Head of Sixth form.
After your daughter has completed her GCSEs we will invite her to spend time with the sixth form so she can experience the subjects she is taking for A Level.
