This evening is always one of the highlights of the school year. We are thrilled to welcome back many of our recent Year 13 leavers, as well as our current Year 11–13 students, to celebrate the Senior Awards. It is always a pleasure to see so many familiar faces gathered to share in this occasion.
At PHS, we believe that achievement comes in many forms. Tonight’s awards reflect not only academic excellence, but also creativity, resilience, kindness, leadership, and service to our community. Every student who is recognised has contributed something unique to the life of our school, and together they represent the values we hold dear.
Celebrations like this remind us that education is not just about passing exams—it is about growing into capable, compassionate, and confident people who are ready to make their mark on the world. By pausing to mark these moments of success, we reinforce the message that effort, courage, and commitment matter.
We are also honoured to welcome our guest speaker this evening, the renowned novelist Kate Mosse, whose career and creativity stand as an inspiring example of what can be achieved with passion and perseverance.
