Helping girls to grow and make a positive difference

This past week has been a wonderful reminder of the joy that comes from sharing music and kindness within our local community.

Our talented Year 5 girls gave a truly memorable performance at the Southsea Christmas Lights switch-on and again at the Salvation Army Carol Service on Sunday. Their singing was full of festive cheer and brought smiles to everyone present, a real credit to their hard work and enthusiasm.

Meanwhile, our Year 4 and Year 6 pupils have been out and about visiting local care homes. They spent time chatting with residents and sharing seasonal songs, brightening the day for many and creating moments of connection that matter so much at this time of year.

These events are more than just performances; they are opportunities for our pupils to understand the importance of giving back and being part of something bigger than ourselves. At Portsmouth High Prep, we believe that fostering community spirit helps our girls grow into compassionate, confident individuals who make a positive difference. Thank you to all who supported these occasions. Together, we are spreading warmth and goodwill throughout Southsea and Portsmouth.
