Alongside our brilliant teachers, I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to the remarkable people working behind the scenes at PHS.
From our caretakers who open the gates before dawn, to the cleaners who leave everything spotless, the IT team keeping systems running, the minibus drivers, and the catering team who serve nutritious meals with a smile — our support staff make daily school life possible.
Our administrative, pastoral support and welfare teams ensure every student feels safe, heard, and cared for. Our librarian, teaching assistants (including toddler groups, languages and sports assistants), technicians, and maintenance teams help to create the conditions for discovery and learning. The reception team, HR, finance, exams, cover and invigilators, Head’s PA, marketing, admissions and reprographics teams continue the momentum of a successful school.
Their dedication, often unseen, is an important part of our school community. They handle challenges with kindness and professionalism.
