Our Country's Good
Amidst much excitement, our 2026 school production of Timberlake Wertenbaker’s ‘Our Country’s Good’ will take place on Tuesday 10 and Wednesday 11 March 2026.
The cast has been selected from Year 7 upwards to Year 13 with A Level and GCSE drama students and scholars taking up leading roles as both convicts and officers from the Royal Marines and Royal Navy.
The play retells tells the true story of the First Fleet of British convicts, who set sail from Portsmouth in June 1787. They embarked on a perilous 8-month journey to reach New South Wales and were set to work to establish a new colony, and forge new lives for themselves in Sydney Cove, known today as Sydney, Australia.
Tickets for the performance are on sale now!
