It has been another outstanding year for Portsmouth High School, GDST, students as they opened their A Level results this morning. The school had 100% pass rate with 50% of the grades A*-A.
‘We are incredibly proud of our students for achieving such exceptional A Level results,’ said Headmistress Mrs Sarah Parker. ‘This recognition reflects not only their academic dedication but also their commitment to the wider life of the school.
‘At PHS, sixth form is more than just exams, it’s a vibrant, holistic experience. Alongside their studies, students have immersed themselves in co-curricular activities, developed leadership skills, and shown remarkable compassion by raising over £13,000 for a local charity.
‘These results are a testament to their hard work, resilience, and the values they carry with them,’ Mrs Parker added. ‘We couldn’t be prouder.’
Head Girl, Katie, was celebrating with her grades of 2 x A* and an A in Biology, Geography and Chemistry.
