Portsmouth High Pre-School is a registered provider of free childcare for working parents which provides your daughter with up to 30 hours of free education a week.
Funding is available from your child’s third birthday and lasts up until the end of the term of her fifth birthday

Hours and Fees
The Nursery and Pre-School are open throughout the school term from 8.30am to 3.30pm. Morning sessions run from 8.30am to 11.30am and afternoons from 12.30pm to 3.30pm.

Free Wraparound Care
We understand parents often need extra care for their daughters outside of the normal school day. Knowing children can safely stay on at school offers peace of mind for parents with busy schedules.

Free wrapround care before and after the Nursery and Pre-School day assists busy and working parents with child care on a daily basis giving peace of mind
Before and After-School care is available for all pupils from Nursery and Pre-School to Year 6 during term time.
There is no extra charge for this for pupils attending full-time. Wraparound Care is also available at very reasonable rates for Nursery and Pre-School children attending part-time.
Girls can enjoy Early Birds’ Breakfast Club from 7.30am, and choose from a varied breakfast menu for a healthy start to the day. The Aftercare Club runs from 3.30pm to 6.00pm, and offers a range of activities for younger children, or the chance to do homework, for the older girls.
Holiday Clubs
Portsmouth High Prep School provides care for children during all school holidays. This means that, with school terms, provision is available for 50 weeks of the year. Holiday care is provided by CSS Activities who offer a varied range of activities to keep children happy and entertained. All holiday clubs are based on site at Portsmouth High Prep School.
