I joined the Nursery at Portsmouth High School in 2012 and became Head Girl at the Prep School in Year 6.

My Portsmouth High School experience has been invaluable to me. The consistent support and encouragement from the teachers has enriched me with the confidence to head out of my comfort zone and get involved, grasping opportunities not only in school life and education but also through the Girls’ Day School Trust (GDST) network. Being involved in the GDST Lead programme and being selected to represent the GDST Select Netball team are testimony to this. Both opportunities allow me to develop transferable skills such as teamwork and communication. PHS has nurtured me into who I am today, pushing me to speak up, enriching me with diligence, determination and resilience.

I am currently studying Mathematics, Chemistry and History at A Level, along with an EPQ on Law. In the future I hope to study a degree in Chemistry or Natural sciences and  am very excited to see where this may lead me.

It’s an honour to have been appointed Head Girl at the senior school for this upcoming year. I am incredibly proud to represent the school and work alongside a dedicated and inspiring Head Girl team. We are a diverse team with our own individual strengths and stories and with this fountain of knowledge will be able to connect and help all PHS girls on their journeys. I am thrilled to be able to give back to the community which has given me so much and to be a positive, inclusive and amiable role model for Portsmouth High School.
