Portsmouth High Prep School is delighted to run Stay and Explore sessions offering a unique experience for the very youngest children to enjoy on a weekly basis during term time.
As the Covid-19 pandemic continues, there will be some new guidelines we ask all participants to follow when they arrive.
We regret we are unable to provide drinks and refreshments so we ask parents to bring their own drinks and snacks with them to enjoy during the activities.
Join us for Stay and Explore
Why not put on your wellies and join us for outdoor fun? All sessions are led by forest schools specialist Mrs Joan West, in the beautiful grounds of Portsmouth High Prep School.
Children will be encouraged to have fun, touch and explore their natural surroundings, including mud and leaves and sticks. Forest School sessions encourage messy play so it is essential that children dress appropriately. Yogi, the friendly school dog, will also be present at some sessions.
A very warm welcome is extended to all children under 5 years, with their parents, grandparents and carers. Stay and Explore sessions take place every Tuesday morning from 10.30 to 11.30 during term time and each session costs £3. To register and book your first place, please telephone 023 9282 4916 or complete the booking form below.
All Toddler and Parent groups take place at Portsmouth High Prep School, 36 Kent Road, Southsea, Hampshire PO5 3ES.
Please note that due to Covid-19 restrictions places are limited on all our parent and toddler groups. Places on Stay and Explore MUST BE PRE-BOOKED each week. Booking opens at 9.00am on Monday mornings via e-mail to email@example.com on a first come first served basis. Places are only confirmed when Mrs West has replied to your e-mail and accepted your booking. Thank you for your interest in coming to Stay and Explore.
