School carries on during lockdown
I hope you had an enjoyable half term – certainly the fine weather gave a holiday vibe to the week.
We spent time getting ready for the return of certain year groups to the prep school and that has been successful. We are now considering options for Year 10. You will be aware of the restrictions of only a quarter of the year group at any one time. We wish any time spent in school to be worthwhile.
Mrs Divilly has emailed all senior girls about our virtual sports day and there is much for them to do as activities during their regular PE lesson. On Wednesday Year 10 participated in a psychometric test – Morrisby – which gives suggestions of careers and careers advice that lasts beyond school. The afternoon was a CV writing workshop. We are fortunate to have the services of Mrs Davies who is an accredited Morrisby assessor.
Details of senior parents‘ evening for Years 10 and 12 will be distributed soon.
We are also working on plans for farewells for Year 11 and 13 but these will depend upon government guidance changing before the end of term.
